The International Live Events Association (ILEA) holds a monthly meeting to catch up on all news, programs, and special interest topics related to event pros (like us!). This time around we partnered with them to bring some elegant lunchtime bites from Congreso Cubano and Just Delights. Meet the chefs below!
Congreso Cubano seeks to bring New Orleans back to its ancestral sister cities, like Cuba, through their food. Chef Orlando Vega serves up familiar dishes, learned from his grandmother’s recipes that he remembered eating as a child. Since they began their pop-ups at Barrel Proof, they’ve since expanded to offer experiential catering services.
2. Just Delights
Just delights is also a growing concept that we’ve now worked with on a few events having just finished a month long pop-up at the Historic Pythian Market. Her handmade ice cream is full of flavor and good vibes, with every scoop fulfilling her mission to make people happy through ice cream.
